I began creating jewelry with oven-bake clay in 2025, inspired by the beauty and quiet rhythms of the remote mountain river community I call home in Colorado.
Under the name Gentle Day Kind Life, I design pieces that reflect the colors, textures, and spirit of the Rocky Mountains. To me, the name is a daily reminder to live with gentleness and kindness—toward ourselves, one another, animals, and the planet we share.
My work celebrates joy, compassion, and a deep respect for the natural world. By incorporating stones, gems, wood, and metals, I blend organic elements with designs inspired by alpine peaks, winding rivers, wildflower meadows, and expansive mountain vistas.
Every piece is handmade and truly one of a kind. Necklaces and bracelets are crafted using chains, faux suede, faux leather, hemp, cork, and cotton. I intentionally avoid materials that may have contributed to the suffering of animals, creating jewelry that aligns with my values of kindness, sustainability, and mindful living.
My work is available in Colorado at Peace Love Dirt in Buena Vista and at Harper Rose Studios in Leadville. I will have a booth at Apple Fest in Buena Vista Sept. 13 at Turner Farm.

My hope is that each piece carries a little of the peace, wonder, and joy of the mountains—and serves as a gentle reminder to live a kind life, one gentle day at a time.
